The Australian Salsa Open (ASO) is a national competition and is the official and only entry to World Salsa Open in Puerto Rico for Australian and New Zealand dancers.

There are amateur, professional and team divisions, with winners of the latter two divisions qualifying for the world championships in Puerto Rico in July 2011.

Over the last few years the Australian Salsa Open has grown so much that now it can't be contained by just one night - so for the first time, we will be having State qualifiers starting in April 2012.

The GRAND FINAL will be held at the Sydney Tattersalls Club:
